With his live animation film Rana being made as a Hindi-Tamil bilingual, Rajnikanth will dub for himself in Hindi over using a dubbing artist.

When was the last time you heard Rajinikanth speak Hindi in his own voice? Perhaps in the 2000 Anil Kapoor film Bulandi where he had an extended special appearance. His last full-length role in Hindi films dates back to the early 90s. And all his Tamil films that were dubbed in Hindi, including the recent hits like Robot and Sivaji The Boss , didn't have his voice but were dubbed by a professional dubbing artist.

But his next ambitious film Rana (earlier titled Sultaan ) is being shot separately in both Tamil and Hindi versions and planned as a bilingual. This live animation extravaganza which promises loads of special effects will finally see the South superstar dub for himself. Sources close to the film claim that this time Rajnikanth will dub for the Hindi version in his own voice.

Finally the huge fan-following that Rajini enjoys in the Hindi belt will get to enjoy the superstar exude his style in Hindi.
