DISCLOSURES pertaining to Indian Sample:
Indian sample (almost 97%) is largely Urban sample Derived from Metropolitan Cities, Cities and Towns. Only a miniscule proportion (near 3%) represents rural India. So there may be a chance for variation or indifference of opinions in some areas or questions expressed here with rural women / women with rural mindset.
For example, in questions like :-
1) Do you give importance to safe sex or sex some how?(99% of urban population said only safe sex but an equal portion of rural population said sex some how) OR
2) Do you like hair at private parts of your men? (About 95% of Urban population said they like clean shaved private parts but 100% of rural population said that they don’t mind having hair at men’s private parts or don’t have a particular opinion on that) OR
3) How many times do you participate in inter course, In a week? (About 95% urban sample said 2-6 times a week but equal amount of rural population said 10-15 times a week) OR
4) Do you Like / Give a blow job? (About 90% Urban population said they never tried / don’t like giving a blow job but surprisingly about 95% rural population said they already tried / don’t mind giving a blow job) OR
5) Do you Tried / like to experiment with other men? (These results are too surprising. About 90% of Urban population said they never tried / don’t want to try where as about 95% rural population said they already tried others / don’t mind experimenting with others) OR
6) Is your first sex experience through your legal partner? (Shockingly, about 70% of Urban population said “Yes from their legal partners” where as about 65% of rural population said their first experience(s) was/were with an illegal partner) OR
7) When did you had your first sex experience / inter course? (These results are also surprising. About 90% of Urban population said between 18 – 23 years of age where as about 95% rural population said between 14 – 18 years) OR

[Here Discussion means with Friends or other than partners & Expression means with their Partners] (These results were stunningly surprising. About 85% urban population doesn’t discuss / express their satisfaction levels where as 95% Rural population either Discuss / Express their satisfaction levels) OR
9) Do you give instructions to your partner orally or by signaling during an inter course? (These results too are surprising. About 87% urban population said “No instructions but follow the flow of the body or Course” where as 94% of rural population said “Yes we give instructions to our partner either orally And / Or by Signals” during an inter course) OR
10) Do you Initiate / call your partner for sex on your own either orally or by seductive signals? (These results are too shocking. About 91% of urban population said that they don’t initiate / call their partner for sex on their own but do sex on their partner’s call where as 89% of rural population said that they do initiate / call their partner for sex on their own)
My Inference on the total research:
The questions listed here above are only a very few of the hundreds of questions pored/posed to the women in the sample.
Most of the results pertaining to the world population sample are in-line with many of our expectations and are neither surprising nor shocking.
Where as, the out come of the results pertaining to the Indian sample are definitely Surprising and in most of the cases shocking.
These results helped me as an Eye opener and a Myth breaker in understanding Indian women more closely than ever before.
After this research, I realized that Indian rural women are more Active, Bold, healthy and Expressive in their Sex lives when compared with their urban Indian counterparts.
I realized that, in spite of having so many Resources (like Internet, Porn DVDs etc.), Opportunities (like work place, hotels, public joints etc.) and Freedom at their disposal, the Indian urban Women as a whole (with a very few exceptions) are not having Healthy / Active / Expressive sex lives. What makes them so Unhealthy / Passive / Non-Expressive in their sex lives is anybody’s or everybody’s guess.
I also realized that, in spite of all their inhibitions, lack of resources, lack of opportunities and lack of freedom, Indian Rural Women as a whole (of course, with a very few exceptions) are NO LESS / AT PAR with world women in their sexual health and are very Expressive and very much Active in sex lives when compared with their Urban Indian Counterparts.
