After having a heart attack, Anil Jain, a resident of Shahadara in the capital, was taken to hospital on Dec 19, but could not reach hospital at the right time as his family members stated, "When we reached the hospital, the doctor said that even if we had brought him 10-15 minutes earlier, he could have been saved."
According the sources, due to Manmohan Singh's convoy, the victim was stuck at Rajghat.
This is not the first instance where general public suffered for any politician's convoy. In Jul 2010, 8-year-old kid in Kanpur died because PM's security and in 2009 also, a similar kind of incident happened in Chandigarh.
