Priyanka Vadra-Biography

Priyanka Vadra (born Delhi January 12, 1972), is an Indian politician. She belongs to the Nehru-Gandhi family.Her father Rajiv Gandhi, grandmother Indira Gandhi and great-grandfather Jawaharlal Nehru were all Indian Prime Ministers. As well, her great-great-grandfather, Motilal Nehru, was a distinguished leader in the Indian Independence Movement. Like her mother, Priyanka's role in politics has been marked by ambiguity. While campaigning regularly for the Congress Party in Uttar Pradesh, she initially claimed to have little interest in politics.
