Healthy Nail Care

Nails are the sensitive part of our body and demand some special care around the season. Otherwise there is high chance that these delicate components get brittle and lose their natural sparkle. Here are few simple ways to keep your nail healthy.

  • Dry brittle Nails should be first soaked in a solution of warm water, lime juice and olive oil. Soak it for around ten minutes. Simultaneously massage and clean your nails and gently push back the cuticles with your fingers.
  • To harden soft nails, soak them in warm olive oil for about 20 minutes, on alternate days. The best time to file your nails is when you are already wearing a polish. This will prevent splitting or breaking of nails.
  • To remove stains from your nails, mix one tablespoon of lemon juice in a cup of water and soak your nails in this liquid for a few minutes. Then, wash off with warm water and apply a hand moisturizer.
  • Mix baking soda in water to make the paste and apply it to nails at least for ten minutes, then wash with fresh water. This mixture will prevent nails from getting yellow.
  • You can scrub your nails with toothpaste this will help remove stains and shines them up.
  • To keep your hand nails smooth, apply olive oil on your fingers and dip them it warm water for 10-15 minutes to give your nails a glossy sheen.
